Freedom loving star Swathi and its relevance in Indian Astrology.

Abstract :

The fifteenth Nakshatra is entitled as Swati, which is located exclusivelywith the sign of Lia, the scales.  It is primarily located adjecent to the Golden Star Arcturus, the ightest single star in the constallation of Alpha Bootisas used in the  western system.  Swathi means the Sword and revealsa strong desire of independence.  The native may be sweet spoken, righteousand empatheticnature.  It is also knwon as Self–going star symbolised as young single shoot blown by the wind.  The Swathi natives possess ability to bend with the wind in order to endurethe forces of change which they may encounter.  The deity that rules Swathi is Vayu, the demigod of wind, air, eath and prana which gives pradhvamsa sakthi.  As the Swati is ruled by Rahu, an airy planetwhich is situatedin the airy sign of Lia makes the native restless and exploratory.  Swati reflects disciplined energy and stregth of transmissionthat influence others at large
