GENDER DIFFERENCE IN EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AMONG TEACHER TRAINEES

Abstract :

 ?e objective of this research is to find out the gender difference on emotional intelligence among teacher trainees. To assess the emotional intelligence of the teacher trainees Emotional Intelligence Scale by Uma Devi was admitted to subjects. Results revealed that there is significant difference between male and female teacher trainees on their emotional intelligence. Female trainees obtained better emotional intelligence scores than male trainees in all the sub components of emotional intelligence
