Abstract :

 The study of history and evolution of a subject matter is important to gain deep knowledge of the specific area of study and the same has been explored as a part of the study on IPR management system in India. This paper presents in a short and concise manner the history and evolution of Geographical Indication as Intellectual Property in India.
