Abstract :
Pancreaticobiliary tumors are a common clinical disease. Currently, the only potential cure for pancreaticobiliary tumors is surgery. Early diagnosis and accurately preoperative assessment of tumor resectability are fundamental to achieve a successful treatment. The role of radiologist in pancreaticobiliary tumors is to diagnose biliary and pancreatic duct obstruction, delineate the level of obstruction, the cause of obstruction, help in staging and to determine resectability of tumor. Now a days, commonly used methods for evaluation of pancreaticobiliary tumors are USG, CT scan and MRI.
