Abstract :
In this paper an attempt is made to explore the right to education as fundamental right. The Constitution of India provides special measures in articles29 and 30 to protect the rights of the minorities. Article 29 provides that any section of the citizens residing in any part of India having a distinct language and a script or culture of its own has the right to conserve and develop it. Article 29 grants protection to both religious minorities as well as linguistic authority.
