IMPORTANCE OF EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF LEARNING DISORDER AND MANAGEMENT

Abstract :

 

The present study has attempting to overcome some of their lacunas in the field of learning diagnosis of learning disorder of various groups of school going children and carries implications for future remedial management training programmes. Sample for the study includes 156 school going children (89 boys, and 67 girls) between the age group of 6–10 years, from different (ICSE, CBSE) schools from Nagpur. Study showed statistically significant differences in all areas of reading, mathematics, written language, oral language areas at the level of <0.05. Study also shows statistically significant differences in all behaviour domain areas after psychotherapy, cognitive based remedial educational training, behaviour therapy significant at <0.05 level. Early intervention suggests that schools, teacher, parents, special educators should not wait for difficulties in students to reinforce, but they should try to find students "at risk" as early as possible. In this study Cognitive based remedial education training ,reinforcement technique modifying student behaviour had positive effect .In reinforcement student can be reinforced for progress toward effect involved and achievement of behavioural goal.
