Abstract :

The paper is an outcome of the research study conducted by the authors on Information Seeking Behaviour of Medical and Engineering Professionals working in different Department of SGPGI, Lucknow and RDSO, Lucknow respectively. Data has been collected through the structured questionnaire and personal interview from both professionals. The collected data has analysed, compared and interpretation have done accordingly. Study discusses the findings of various strategies and procedures adopted by the Professionals in meeting their information requirements. The survey result shows that the Professionals have expressed great dependency on Internet in meeting their information requirements with the help of institutional Liary & Information centre and personal efforts
