Abstract :

<p>Salivary gland tumours are rare in pediatric age group, most common are hemangiomas and the parotid gland is most commonly affected. Managing these lesions poses a challenge due to their expansile property, proximity to facial nerve, underlying histologic variety, variable response to treatment, associated complications, wide variety of different presentations and unpredictable course of progression. Parotid hemangiomas show resistance to treatment so various treatment options have been in use including conservative management, corticosteroids, sclerosing agents and surgical resection.</p>
