Ksharvarti and Agnikarma in the Management of bhagandara W.S.R to Low Anal Inter and Trans Sphincteric Fistula in Ano: A Case Report

Abstract :
Fistula in Ano is considered a serious disease in Ayurveda and Allopathic system of medicines. The present case study was conducted on a female patient aged 28 years suffering from the disease from past 8 months. The patient was young, so was demoralised and worried about the operation and big wound scars in the region. The patient was counselled and explained about the intervention (Ksharvarti with Agnikarma). The patient was cured within 25 days of intervention and follow up was done for next 3 months. In the follow up period, no complication was found out. This treatment technique is better option than any other treatment modality available so far in terms of patient discomfort and large wounds.
