Missed isolated scaphoid dislocation with median nerve compression: a case report.

Abstract :
Isolated scaphoid dislocation is a rare entity associated with extrinsic and intrinsic ligamentous disruptions. Different types of dislocation and mechanism of injuries and treatment options ranging from close reduction and percutaneous fixation to open fixation has been described in past. We share our experience in a 45 years old male patient with missed volar scaphoid dislocation where in close reduction and open ligament reconstruction was done with good functional outcome at 18 months
