Mobile IP: A Study, Problems and their Solutions

Abstract :

In recent years, there is enormous growth in the number of mobile internet users. Mobile IP is designed within the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) to provide seamless Internet Connectivity. It is a mobility support protocol that supports roaming across multiple Access Points to maintain the communication between the nodes as they move from one place to another without re–instate the connection. In this paper, we describe the Terminology, features, several problems that Mobile IP faces and how to resolve them so that it can successfully deployed in future.
