Abstract :
One of the most common predisposing factors for ain abscess in childhood is cyanotic congenital heart disease with right to left shunt. Here, we present a case of a 6 months old male child who was admitted with complains of fever, increasing head size and one episode of abnormal movements of all 4 limbs. The patient was initially suspected to have hydrocephalus but eventually diagnosed as ain abscess without any underlying congenital cyanotic heart diseases.
