National Clean Air Programme in India –An introduction

Abstract :

Air pollution is currently progressive as the major cause of mortality and morbidity in world. About half of the world population is impacted by it. Problem is worse in India a many of the cities have severe air quality index with almost nil or less effective policies .In the midst of all these ,Govt of India started the programme of “National clean air program”. The goals, policies and implementation bodies, and the initiatives which are taken under this program have been discussed in this article.
