Occupational Therapy Intervention for patients with De–addiction

Abstract :

A descriptive case series illustrates the experience of 45 years old male with Alcoholism and withdrawal symptoms are being rehabilitated by an Occupational Therapist using therapy methods and techniques on the basis of in–patient and outpatient. The level of severities are identified with AUDIT (Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test) questionnaire and the stress level by the standardize stress questionnaires. The aims are to prevent relapse, to promote health and to reduce the level of stress through by techniques and also to relocate in to the work place, community and the home. The therapy sessions are two sessions/Day, 15sessions/Week for 16 weeks. And motivate him to make soberly in his life.
