Abstract :

Pancreatic hemartomas have been rarely described in the literature. To our knowledge less than 20 cases have been reported. Pancreatic hemartomas lack pathognomic radiologic features and thus can be mistaken for malignancy. Misinterpretation of hamartomas as a true neoplasms will result in unnecessary surgery. Its

diagnosis is usually confirmed by pathological examination after surgical resection. Herein, we report a case of cystic pancreatic hemartoma and demonstrate its characteristics along with a review of literature
