PERSISTENT MULLERIAN DUCT SYNDROME - A RARE CASE REPORT

Abstract :

 4 years old male child was reported with the complain of Pain abdomen with protruded umbilicus, Pain, dribbling and burning sensation while

micturition there were no history of fever, blood in urine or stool. Physical examination at presentation revealed an impalpable gonad on the right
side with otherwise normal masculine external genitalia and normal penile length. All the features including morphologically male genitalia and
testis with uterus ( no vagina / no evident ovaries ) suggestive of PMDS. Anti–mullerian hormone levels was done which below the normal level (1
.0 ng /ml normal level between 1.5 to 4.0 further supported our diagnosis.
