Personality Traits and Performance of Badminton Players in Relation to Their Socio–Economic States

Abstract :

The purpose of the present study was to assess personality traits & socio–economic status of badminton players. A total of 100 badminton players in which 50 male’s players & 50 female players selected from different colleges affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala. The age group of the samples ranged from 18–25 years & all the samples selected from random basis. To assess personality traits of badminton players, Eysenck personality inventory was used. & this inventory is highly reliable & valid. The scale of socio–economic status had been developed by literate people. Results found that there is no difference between performance level of male & female badminton players.
