Abstract :

Aim and objectives: to evaluate the accuracy of Sono– elastography of pelvic masses with pathological co–relation.

Material and method: a prospective observational study was carried out in the department of radiology in AVBRH Sawangi Wardha a rural tertiary care hospital. 87 female patients were selected according to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Hitachi Aloka arietta 70s ultrasound machine with trans–vaginal probe (5–11MHz) was used for evaluation of patients. Pathological correlation was done with FNAC/Biopsy/Histopathology

Results:Sensitivity, Specificity and Diagnostic accuracy of sono–elastography was calculated tobe 93.06%, 86.67% and 91.95% respectively.< style="mso–special–character:line–eak" /> < style="mso–special–character:line–eak" />
