Squamous Cell Carcinoma of medial canthus in a child with Xeroderma Pigmentosa- A Case Report

Abstract :

Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCCs) are one of the most common malignancies in Adult age group and extremely rare among childhood age group. However, children with certain conditions example Xerodema Pigmentosum (XP), a rare Autosomal Recessive inherited disease, are highly susceptible to develop cancers like SCC. Hence, we, are presenting a case report of a 7 years old child with xerodermoa pigmentosa presenting with medial canthus mass which was diagnosed as Squamous Cell Carcinoma
