Study of Effects of a typical Coronal Mass Ejection

Abstract :
Coronal Mass Ejections are burst of particles and energy from solar corona. Many a times such events results into changes in our terrestrial environment. CMEs produce geomagnetic storm at the earth. One such CME occurred on 28 December 2001 is studied and described here. It resulted into moderate geomagnetic storm.
