Study of Neonatal complications in newborns of mothers with pregnancy induced hypertension

Abstract :
One of the most catastrophic event in neonatal practice is haemorrhagic diathesis. The neonatologist is exposed to a number of conditions where the complications like disseminated intravascular coagulation, sepsis, intracranial haemorrhage arise. 1,2 Most of the parinatal haemorrhages now observed in neonates born to high risk mothers i.e. mothers with pre–eclampsia, auptio placenta, are due to intravascular coagulopathies 3.
