Abstract :

4–(substituted phenyl)–1–(2,4–dinitrophenyl)–3–methyl–4,5–dihydro–pyrazolo[3,4–d]pyrimidine–6–thiol synthesized by reaction between 2–(2,4–dinitrophenyl)–5–methyl–2,4–dihydro–pyrazol–3–one and different aldehyde in presence of thiourea ,hydrochloric acid and methanol ?e synthesized compounds were characterized by means of their IR, 1H–NMR spectral data and elemental analysis. All the synthesized products were evaluated for their antimicrobial activities by Cupborer method.
