Technology in the Fight Against COVID 19: Indian Perspective

Abstract :

Technological advances have been contributing towards prevention and control of COVID–19 pandemic globally. India has also taken a proactive role in engaging technology in the fight against this pandemic besides a strong political will, with the imposition of lockdown measures. Some of these measures include use of artificial intelligence, Aarogya setu app, drones, sanitizing tunnels, robots in patient care, testing, drugs, vaccine, plasma therapy, portable contactless swab collection etc. This article describes the role of these technologies in Indian context.
