Abstract :
Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a relatively new practice in pulmonary medicine and an integral part of management of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) and other chronic respiratory diseases. A prospective, randomized controlled study was carried out in 43 diagnosed patients of stable COPD having functional limitation. Significant improvement in the nutrition status viz mid arm circumference, BMI and serum protein was observed in patients after pulmonary rehabilitation programme.
