The Role Of Total Quality Management In Higher Education

Abstract :

Total quality management (TQM) is a management philosophy. The TQM philosophy helps an organization to achieve its objectives. Although TQM was developed for industrial purposes after the 1990’s, TQM began to attract the attention of academics in higher education who saw its potential to increase the efficiency of the education offered in universities and colleges. This paper aims to show how higher education can benefit from the advantages of TQM and how it can be implemented.
