WOMEN EMPLOYEES’ MORALE IN TEXTILE MILLS

Abstract :

 Human Resource Management is considered to be the most valuable asset in any organization. It is the sumtotal of inherent abilities, acquired knowledge and skills represented by the talents and aptitudes of the employed persons who comprise of executives, supervisors, and the rank and file employees. Morale is an intangible and subjective concept. It cannot be measured directly. Employees are reluctant to express their true attitudes towards the work, environment, and management. The level of morale can be measured through observation, attitude survey, company records and counselling. The ranking given in the table suggests that to improve the level of women employees morale, the determinants Performance appraisal, Image of your mill, Training and development, Employee grievance handling and Trade union are the main areas to be focused upon immediately
