WORKING CONDITION OF URBAN INFORMAL SECTOR WORKERS IN KERALA

Abstract :
This study is an attempt to tracetheworking condition of the urban informal sector workers in Kerala.It hasbeen divided into four sections. The first section describes the growth of informal sector employment in Kerala. Secondly analyses the working condition of the urban informal sector workers in Kerala,includes the income status, educational level,working hours, years of experience and social security coverage. Thethird section analyses the significant factors associated with the informalsector by using multiple regression analysis,and in the last section, it results in the major findings of the analysis.
