A BRIEF SOCIO–LEGAL STUDY OF WOMEN WORKERS IN FILM INDUSTRY IN HYDERABAD

Abstract :

<p> The film industry is one of the unique industries from the perspective of employment generation for women. The position of women workers in film industry is not better than any other occupation in the unorganised sector. In the era of globalization, promoting gender justice through economic empowerment is a challenging task for the third world countries. Despite several domestic and international norms the women workers in film industry continue to be exploited. Hence the present article makes an attempt to project the status of women workers in film industry in Hyderabad in terms of classification, special features, characteristics and related matters.</p>
