A Comparative Study of Life Time Models in the Analysis of Survival Data

Abstract :
In this paper, an empirical comparison is made between two parametric models namely, Weibull and Lognormal and the semi-parametric Cox model in the analysis of survival data. The bone-morrow transplantation data is used for the comparison. The Lognormal model gave better fit than the other models in terms of deviance.
