A Review of Contemporary Imaging Anatomic Interpretation of Some Rabbit, Feline and Canine Organs of Cranial Abdomen Using Computed Tomography (Ct)
Kamelia Stamatova Yovcheva
Abstract :
Recently computed tomography (CT) has been widely used as a noninvasive imaging anatomical method for visualization of organs from cranial abdomen in small domestic mammals. CT is suitable for anatomical visualization of bones and soft tissues in small animals used as classical experimental models in biomedical research. The study of anatomical objects using CT is performed in normal functioning biological object that is not subjected to excessive radioactive radiation. The exact interpretation of CT images and description of the organ structures of cranial abdominal region is based on preliminary studied information from topographic anatomy
