A STUDY OF ATTITUDE OF PARENTS OF THE AHMEDABAD CITY & TALUKA PLACES TOWARDS FOREIGN (ENGLISH) MEDIUM SCHOOLING SYSTEM

Abstract :

The major purpose of this research was to investigate the attitude of the parents towardsthe Foreign (English) Medium Schooling System compare to the Vernacular (Gujarati) Medium Schooling System. The data were collected from 200parents of Ahmedabad City and Taluka Places of the Gujarat State. The collected data was analysed using t – test. The result indicates that the parentsare much positive towards the Foreign (English) Medium Schooling System than the Vernacular (Gujarati) Medium Schooling System. There is no significance difference between the attitudes of male and female parents as well as rural male – female and urban male – female parentstowards Foreign (English) Medium Schooling System.
