Abstract :

 Aim of the study is to find the incidence of cataract development with regard to age, sex, complications of cataract surgery( pre & post operative )and visual outcome after surgery. Certain preventive measures are adopted to reduce the complications. A prospective study was done in Regional Eye Hospital, Kurnool Medical College ,KURNOOL A.P.
