Abstract :

 Consumer is one who will decide whether or not to buy a product. Marketers have to understand the  role of consumer in the market and workout marketing programmes accordingly. Consumer behavior is defined as psychological, social and physical behavior of all potential consumers as they become aware of  evaluate, purchase, consume and tell others about products and services. Consumer behavior is a part of human  behavior“Human behavior refers to the total process by which individuals interact with the environment”. Consumer  Behavior varies according to the type of product purchased
