Abstract :

The observational study was conducted to find out the published literature on Medical apps from the select countries in the Pubmed database as on 31st Mar 2016. Total of 448 publications were retrieved with search words of Apps and smartphones in Pubmed database. Data retrieved of 15 chosen countries revealed highest publications being 86 from USA & none from Russia & Bangladesh. Publications from India were 12, keeping her at sixth position along with New Zealand. This study revealed the scientific prowess, research & publication attitude of various nations.
