Analysis of Thermal Behavior of Graphite Flakes Filled Epoxy Composites

Abstract :
In this paper, the composites were prepared by mixing epoxy resin and graphite in varying proportions by weight of resin. Aliphatic amine was used as an accelerator to improve the interfacial adhesion between the graphite filler and matrix. The experimental study relating to the thermal properties of graphite filled epoxy composites was carried out. The study revealed that the properties of the composites mainly depended on dispersion condition of filler particles, particle size and aggregate structure.
