ANALYSIS OF THIAMINE FROM SOME VEGETABLES

Abstract :

 Thiamine were estimated from the eight plant viz. Sesbania grandiflora, Moringa olifera, Mucuna nivea, Hibiscus cannabinus, Colocasia easculenta, Solanum lycoperiscum, Cicer arietinum, Cucumis melo. Higher yield of thiamine was recorded in Moringa olifera, Mucuna nivea, Hibiscus cannabinus and Sesbania grandiflora.
