Approaches for the Development of Sub–National Level Tourism Satellite Accounts in India: A Study

Abstract :

The paper focuses on the study of different approaches adopted for the development of sub-national level tourism satellite account which will quantify the economic magnitude of tourism at the state level. Two different approaches recommended in TSA: RMF 2008 and by Calvin Jones and others 2009 have been analyzed. Further approaches followed for compiling two State TSA’s by India is studied followed by findings and recommendations.
