Abstract :

 This article presents some aspects of bilingual and multilingual education. The aim is to iefly present and discuss some similar and differing trends within the field of bilingual and multilingual education into both outside and inside perspectives. On the basis of the experiences a cross–professional framework for understanding bilingual and multilingual education policies and individual language learning paths is suggested and discussed.
