Bouveret’s syndrome– a case report with review of literature

Abstract :

 Bouveret’s syndrome, an obstruction at the gastric outlet is a rare complication of gall stone. It is due to duodenal impaction of large gall stone which passes into duodenal bulb through a cholecysto gastric or cholecysto duodenal fistula. We report a case of Bouveret’s syndrome in an elderly male patient that was treated successfully with endoscopic snare.
