Building Test Automation framework using Device Simulators

Abstract :

 Test automation has found its place in the IT industry, with more and more organizations understanding the crucial role that it plays in quality software production. As business requirement grows, so does the complexity and pressure in organizations to deliver more features with fewer resources, in reduced time and with high quality. In addition, if that application communicates with hardware’s like LED Signs, TV Panel, IP Speakers etc then complexity increases tremendously. Most of the organizations cannot purchase the required number of hardware devices to do automation or UI performance testing. Using cost–efficient product alternatives saves significant IT costs for the company. This avoids additional cost without compromising on the compliance with licensing agreements. Hardware Simulators is one of the cost–efficient product alternatives that we will be discussing in this White Paper
