Abstract :

 Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a global problem with significant morbidity and mortality. In addition to respiratory symptoms like cough, eathlessness patients can present with gastrointestinal symptoms like heart burn, pain abdomen, hematemesis and malena. An association between COPD and acid peptic disease (APD) has been recognized in various studies involving lung diseases.
