Abstract :

Cereovascular Accident or Stroke is defined as an aupt onset of a focal neurological deficit that is particularly attributable to a focal Vascular Cause. Stroke is a worldwide health problem. It makes an important contribution to morbidity, mortality and disability in developed as well as in developing countries.5 Stroke is a difficult disease to study because of differing etiologies, heterogeneity of symptoms, varying severity and spontaneous recovery. Additionally, recovery is difficult to measure because it may be neurological, adaptive or a combination of both. This prompted attempts to define variables that can be used for prognostication. The present study comprised of study of 100 patients of acute stroke admitted to Medicine Department of Our Hospital To Study the Clinical Profile of Stroke with Special Reference to Risk Factors, Presenting Clinical Features, Complications, Management and Outcome.
