Abstract :

 

In 2001, the stages of reproductive aging workshop(STRAW) defines ‘Perimenopause’  as the period beginning with menopausal transition and ending 12 months after the last menstrual period.1,2  This may last for 4–8 years Perimenopasal period is often characterized by menstrual irregularities in frequency and volume, due to fluctuating estrogen levels and these changes are unpredictable.
