DEPOSIT AND LENDING PERFORMANCE OF STATE BANK OF INDIA

Abstract :

 State Bank of India is the largest bank of India in public sector bank. It is imperative to know about the financial performance of SBI from 2007– 2008 to 2016–2017. State Bank of India growth and development were based on key responsibility areas of deposit mobilization, Borrowing, NPA, profitability and productivity. Deposit mobilization is a primary function of a commercial function of a commercial bank. Banks are the service institutions, which supply luicants in the form of loans and advances to the industry, trade, and commerce of the country for their smooth functioning.  In view of this the study set out to apply Credit Deposit Ratio. The Researcher Conclude that during the period of from 2007–2008 to 2016–2017 of the State Bank Of India Covered Officers, Associates, Subordinate Staff & Others are Increased from March 2016 to March 2017. Based on the above study the growth and performance of the State Bank of India is Good Performance. The State Bank of India to avoid to penalty from public that time the deposit will be increased.
