Dielectric and Photoconductivity studies of an L–CysteiniumchlorideNicotinamide Monohydrate

V. Azeezaa, A. Joseph Arul Pragasam

Abstract :

Interest in L–Cysteine crystals have been increased due to super ionic conduction and its usual electro–optic properties. Optically clear single crystal of LCNM was grown by slow evaporation method. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss have been obtained as a function of frequency between 50 Hz –5 MHz and temperature range between 40ºC–100ºC. The photoconductivity study is also carried out for LCNM crystal and the results were discussed.
