Early weaning between of children between 4 to 6 month of age and its effect on growth at 12 months of age
Dr. Jagdish Dubai
Abstract :
Weaning pertains to the process of substituting a newborn or infant’s food with a milk formula instead of the traditional and often more recommended east milk. One of the most relevant health–related issues when it comes to weaning is childhood obesity. Whether early weaning or late weaning actually contributes to the likelihood of a toddler becoming obese is still highly contested. The objective of this paper is to discuss the effects of early weaning at four to six months of age on growth and development.
