Abstract :

Hard turning is a one kind of machining process which involves turning of hardened material (45–70 HRC) in to finish components in the industries. The main problem associated with hard turning is a generation of high interface temperature between tool and work piece, which affect the quality of product produced. The main objectives of this study investigate and evaluate the effect of different cutting parameters (cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut )and interface temperature and chip morphology on surface roughness and flank wear during hard turning of alloy steel.
