Effect of Yogic Practices on Blood Test for T.C, D.C and E.S.R in Jewellery Employees

Abstract :
The study was designed to investigate the Effect of Yogic Practices on Selected Biochemical Parameters T.C, D.C and E.S.R in jewellery employees. For this purpose was 22 individuals randomly selected from Malabar Gold Employees, Mangalore between the age group of 22 – 45 yrs. A 40 days long practical session has been conducted with a total of 12 subjects treated as Experimental group (Group – I). Another 10 subjects were selected for control group. The group I was given with selected Yogic practices for one hour daily at Malabar Gold Residency, Falnir, Mangalore. The initial and final readings were taken for two groups by testing ESR, TC and DC. The experimental group showed a signifcant reduction in TC and ESR. DC values are also showed improvement even though statistically non significant
