Exploring Impredictability: Lyotard on Disrupting The Totalization in Postmodernity

Abstract :

In postmodern condition pragmatism over shadows ethics as efficiency and profit become the driving forces. Global–market driven economies place profit above other values. The paper explores Lyotards perspective who insists that this needs to be resisted by looking at the transformative pessibilities that connot be predicted, explained or mastered by technologically based system of reason.
