Generation and Management of Biomedical Waste in Police Hospital Jammu (J&K)

Abstract :
In present study attempt has been made to assess biomedical waste generation and management in Police Hospital Jammu. The study was carried out for 21 days which included four Mondays, four Tuesdays, four Wednesday, three Thursdays, three Fridays and three Saturdays. As a whole percentage of total average infectious and non–infectious waste per day was observed to be 44% and 56%, respectively
